I want to thank you so much for your email. I have been feeling like an island for so long. Going out around people, I get such bad panic attacks. One day, I would love to be able to accept myself to the point that I wouldn't give a sicky wink what people think. I hope we can be email buddies. Reading your email , I see that I connect with you on another level. Cancer has personally effected my life too. Thanks again for your email/ Hope to hear from you soon/ Take Care

Hi Sophie:
I too have a facial difference as a result of a type of cancer, where part of my face is partially frozen, due to surgery, so I look as if I have a stroke.

I understand exactly what you mean regarding the way people react. It can be very painful. Sometimes it is hard for me to leave the house, but I have joined a wonderful cancer supoort group, and my best friend lives right across the street, so we go to the movies together and do other things,

Anyway, if you would like to correspond, please feel free to write.

Ilook forward to hearing from you,
Deborah
